What You'll Need
- Your Walking Apron
- A mirror (optional, but helpful for first-time users)
- Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Unpack Your Apron
- Remove your Walking Apron from its packaging.
- Give it a good shake to unfold it fully.
- Take a moment to admire the craftsmanship – phew that's cool!
2. Find the Leg Holes
- Hold the apron in front of you with the bib (the top part) facing up and out.
- Locate the two leg holes at the bottom of the apron. They're what make this a "walking" apron!
3. Step Into the Apron
- Just like putting on a pair of pants, step into the leg holes one foot at a time.
- Pull the apron up to about waist level.
4. Position the Bib
- Take the bib portion (the top part of the apron) and lift it over your head.
- Adjust it so it sits comfortably on your chest.
5. Adjust the Neck Strap
- Find the adjustable neck strap at the top of the bib.
- Adjust it so the bib sits at a comfortable height on your chest.
- Pro tip: You want it snug enough to stay in place, but not so tight it feels like a necklace!
6. Secure the Waist Ties
- Locate the waist ties on either side of the apron.
- Wrap them around your back and tie them in front (or back, if you prefer).
- Adjust for comfort – you want it secure, but not too tight.
7. Final Adjustments
- Check that the leg portions are comfortably wrapped around your legs.
- Adjust the overall length if needed. The apron should hit somewhere between your knees and ankles, depending on your height and preference.
8. Get Creative!
- You're all set! Time to start creating those beautiful messes.
- Don't forget to use those handy pockets and loops for your tools.
Tips for a Perfect Fit
- If you're under 5'2" or over 5'9", let us know when ordering for a custom length.
- For sizes larger than 16, we'll add extra width to the bib, ties, and waist at no extra charge.
- Exceptionally slender? We can make the bib and waist petite for you.
- The standard size works for clothing sizes S-XL (or sizes 4-14).
- See our full sizing guide here
Care Instructions
- Your Walking Apron is tough, but it appreciates a little TLC.
- Machine wash on any cycle – it can handle it!
- Tumble dry or hang to dry.
- Iron if desired, but who has time for that when there's creating to do?
Remember, your Walking Apron is designed to make your creative process easier and messier (in the best way possible). If you have any questions about fit or function, don't hesitate to reach out. Now go forth and create!
